Chelsea vs Newcastle Prediction & Betting Tips (11 March)

In line with its previous year, Chelsea is not meeting expectations at all this season. The Magpies are currently 8th in the Premier League but can still hope to win a European folding seat. They have regained momentum in recent weeks and have suffered only one setback in the last 6 days, for 3 victories and 2 draws. After logically losing in the lair of Arsenal 4-1, Newcastle easily took the upper hand, at home, over Wolverhampton last weekend 3-0. In the FA Cup, the residents of Saint James Park barely beat Blackburn 1-1, qualifying following penalties and will face Manchester City in the quarter-final.

Never spared from injuries since the start of the season, Chelsea are still impacted this weekend. Taking their place in the infirmary are captain Reece James, the unfortunate Nkunku, French defenders Fofana and Badiashile and midfielders Lavia, Ugochukwu and Chukwuemeka. Author of a superb season, Cole Palmer (10 goals and 7 assists in PL) asserts himself as the offensive spearhead of the Blues. He should still be associated with Nicolas Jackson (8 goals and 3 assists in the PL).

For Newcastle, we must mention the defections of the excellent goalkeeper Pope, the starting midfielder Joelinton, the influential striker Wilson (7 goals in the PL) and replacement full-back Targett. We must also not forget the long suspension of Italian midfielder Tonali. Both scorers on the last day, attackers Gordon (9 goals and 5 assists in PL) and Isak (11 goals in PL) should logically start.
