Belgrano vs Lanus Prediction & Betting Tips (21 March)

13th in this group B, Belgrano only has 8 points after 10 matches played, i.e. only one victory when receiving Sarmiento Junin 4-1. For the rest, it is a series of four defeats and five draws, including two in succession recently against Defensa y Justicia 1-1 and on the pitch of Central Cordoba 2-2. Just before these two sharing of points, the locals had conceded defeat against Boca Juniors 3-2. Runner-up to Godoy Cruz in this group B, Atlético Lanus faces strong competition from Estudiantes, Newells Old Boys, Defensa y Justicia and Boca Juniors who are only three points behind at most.

The race for the top 4 still looks pretty crazy in this group B. At Belgrano, three players are likely to be missing, Jara (rotation), Quignon (recently arrived free from Dallas in MLS) and Tapia (young 19-year-old player, very little used) all three injured. On the other hand, the strong man is called Passerini (5 goals in the competition, author of 3 goals in his last 3 matches) and he will probably be in the game like the striker Sanchez (2 goals, 3 assists in the competition), also scoring in the draw against Cordoba. On the Lanus side, a boy like Acosta (absent due to injury since the start of the calendar year) and the important Diaz (11 goals, 4 assists in the league last weekend) will probably be OUT for this trip.

This will not a priori be the case for Walter Bou (5 goals in the competition) and Moreno (4 goals in the competition), both scorers in the victory against CA Tigre.
