Monaco vs Rennes Prediction & Betting Tips (7 April)

The chances of seeing AS Monaco return to the Champions League next year are real. The Principality club is indeed well established on the podium of this championship, in 3rd position, with a small point behind the 2nd, Brest, and 3 ahead of the 4th, Lille. After a fairly difficult period experienced at the start of 2024, Adi Hütter's men have regained solidity in recent weeks by stringing together a series of 5 matches without the slightest defeat. Opposite, Stade Rennais is still chasing too many lost points in the first part of season which may fail him at the end of this exercise. The Principality's players still have to do without the titular left piston Caio Henrique who continues his rehabilitation phase. Midfielder Camara is also unfit for this meeting, as is Chilean defender Maripan. Return planned, however, for Swiss midfielder Zakaria who was suspended during the trip to Metz. Louis II's residents have no shortage of strengths in their game, notably the excellent Minamino (7 goals, 5 assists), the Russian Golovin (6 goals, 6 assists), the promising Akliouche (6 goals, 3 assists) and the American Balogun (7 goals, 3 assists) who scored twice in Metz last Saturday. Absent at Meinau last weekend, striker Blas and left back Truffert will be back after being suspended.
