Christophe Clement has managed to come away with his very first Breeders’ Cup race. Pizza Bianca has swept home late to bag the Juvenile Fillies Turf. Clement, who was born in France, was an assistant to the famous Luca Cumani. He has a vast range of big wins but he came into the 2021 meeting with an 0-41 record. This is when you look at Breeders’ Cup events.

Breakthrough Period

At the end of the day, the long wait for the breakthrough period looked to carry on when Pizza Bianca was positioned at the back. They were looking for the turn-in but then George Boughey’s Cachet came home. The closers helped to bring the picture closer but nothing finished as well as Pizza. David Loughnane hit the crossbar with Go Bears during the Juvenile Turf Sprint too. This happened earlier in the day and there are going to be high hopes for others too. Hello You tracked the pace in what looked like the best slot, right behind the leaders.

Unfortunately, she failed to see it out and she was soon swamped by Pizza Bianca, Haughty, who was the favourite and Malavath. Cachet held on and finished in fourth with Hello You, which was at 9/1, having to settle for fifth place. Bobby Flay’s Pizza Bianca

Pizza Bianca is the horse that has been bred by the famous TV chef Bobby Flay. He has come out to say that he is a chef, and the dam’s name is White Hot. He then used this to name her. He’s said that he is a breeder himself and his favourite thing to do is go into the matings and plan out the future for the horses. He has come out to say that although the dam never actually ran, it is a great pedigree and he kept her knowing that the blood would eventually show up for him. She was last around the far turn and he had a feeling that she didn’t like the firm ground.

That being said, all of a sudden, things turned crazy. Jose took a lot of bobs and weaves and Pizza Bianca ended up coming out with the win for the juvenile category. Christophe is a well-deserving trainer at the end of the day, and he is fantastic at what he does. He has come out to say that he pays attention to a lot of details and he eats and sleeps the horses that he keeps. The fact that he has won the cup is such a great feat for him and it just goes to show that all of his hard work is finally paying off. Who knows what the future holds for him but one thing is abundantly clear, and that’s that he and his horses have a lot of potential and there are exciting things ahead for the owner.
