Cambridge Utd vs QPR Prediction & Betting Tips (13 August)

High-flying Cambridge Utd have been in tremendous form on their own patch of late, securing six wins in eight matches, and they are unbeaten in seven top-flight fixtures against these opponents, winning three of the last four. QPR, meanwhile, have found the going tough on their EFL Cup travels for quite some time, recording just three wins in 17 games.

Under 2.5 goals has been the order of the day in 10 of the previous 11 Cambridge Utd home matches in the EFL Cup, including in nine games on the bounce of late. Although they cannot compete with these numbers, it remains the case that 12 of the most recent 18 QPR fixtures at this level have also served up two goals or fewer, so expect more of the same.

It would be fair to say that Cambridge Utd have not been the most exciting team to watch recently, with only three of their last 12 EFL Cup matches producing goals at both ends. Given that ten of the previous 12 QPR away games at this level have also seen at least one of the two keepers emerging with a clean sheet, do not expect both teams to find the net.
