Brentford vs Crystal Palace Prediction & Betting Tips (18 August)

Brentford only finished 16th last season despite a rather interesting end to the year. The Bees have in fact suffered only two defeats in the last 9 days 3 wins, 4 draws, notably hanging on to United 1-1 and Villa 3-3 or even winners of Bournemouth 1-2. They did not have a very glorious run in the FA Cup either where they were eliminated in the 1/32 finals by Wolves. During the summer, Yoann Wissa's partners started with a victory against AFC Wimbledon 2-5 and a draw against Benfica 1-1. It then took a turn for the worse with a defeat against Estrela 3-1. Brentford will still face Watford and Wolfsburg.

Crystal Palace is quite simply the best team at the end of last season, with 6 wins and 1 draw on the clock over the last 7 days. After a complicated start to the season, this allowed them to finish in 10th place, which seemed unexpected at mid-season. This good series allows them to calmly look forward to the start of this season, which started with a draw in preparation against Charlton 1-1, before two successes against Crawley Town 3-6 and Wolverhampton 3-1. The team coached by Thomas Frank is parting ways with Maupay whose loan has ended, but also with Strakosha and Baptiste whose contract has ended.
