Promotion-chasing Mirassol have been in tremendous form on their own patch so far this season, collecting 19 points from a possible 21 in the Serie B. America MG, on the other hand, have been struggling to adapt to life at a higher level, with a return of four defeats from seven trips doing little to enhance their survival prospects in a competitive second tier.

Goals tend to be in short supply when America MG come calling in the Serie B, with under 2.5 being served up in 12 of their previous 14 away matches, including in each of the last six. Given that six of the most recent eight Mirassol games at this level have also fallen into this low-scoring category, a thriller does not appear to be on the cards.
