Toulouse vs Le Havre Prediction & Betting Tips (15 September)

11th last year, Toulouse would like to enter the top 10 this year and why not go for Europe once again as they did by winning the Coupe de France? The objective is not impossible, especially given the preparation which gave good performances notably against Roma victory 1-0 and Girona victory 4-0. But the season did not start as well as expected, with an avoidable draw at home against Nantes 0-0, a good draw on the pitch at Nice 1-1 and a defeat with questionable refereeing decisions against OM 1 -3. The record of 2 points in 3 days must quickly be erased. Maintained at the last minute last year, the HAC must ensure its maintenance as quickly as possible this season, a difficult task especially given the poor preparation.

But after a logical defeat against PSG for the first day of the championship 1-4, Le Havre won their two matches against two direct competitors for maintenance, namely the two promoted Saint-Etienne 0-2 and AJ Auxerre 3 -1 which had been reduced to 10 before halftime. The task will become more complicated against tougher opponents, but for the moment Le Havre is very close to the European places. 

Dutch midfielder Spierings, loaned last season to Lens, left the club permanently this summer. The departures don't stop there: defenders Moussa Diarra (Alavés), Mawissa (Monaco), Logan Costa (Villarreal), right-back Desler (Austin FC) and Cissoko (Plymouth Argyle, loan), as well as midfielder Spanish César Gelabert (Sporting Gijón, loan), have also packed their bags. Even more worrying, top scorer Dallinga (15 goals last season) has signed with Bologna. On the other hand, TFC strengthened its defense with the arrival of Charlie Cresswell (Leeds), McKenzie (Genk) and 2018 world champion Djibril Sidibé (AEK Athens). This week, the club also welcomed versatile Norwegian striker Joshua King (Fenerbahce), young Akdag (Alanyaspor, loan) and playmaker Zajc (Fenerbahce). Swiss international Sierro (6 goals), winter recruit Gboho (3 goals, 3 assists) and Cameroonian Magri (5 goals, 2 assists) are still in good shape. During the matches against Nice and Marseille, it was the Gambian Babicka who scored the team's only goal. Frank Magri, sent off against OM, will be missing for this match. Le Havre has decided to part ways with the experienced André Ayew (5 goals) without trying to retain him at all costs.

For his part, center forward Bayo (also 5 goals), often a substitute, returned to Lille after his loan. Young central defender Gomis has joined Strasbourg. On the other hand, Bouneb and Londja, both from Valenciennes, landed in Normandy. Promising striker Housni was loaned by PSG, while Joujou, transferred to Parma, remained at the club on loan for the season. American winger Sabbi (5 goals) and left back Opéri (3 goals, 4 assists) have become pillars of the team, where we also find Soumaré, former player of AJ Auxerre. The young goalkeeper Gomis, starter with the France U19s this summer at the Euro, is currently absent. The infirmary also welcomes the young Logbo and the important winger Sabbi. Recently arrived, defender Pembélé missed the last meeting but could be present for this match.
