GAIS vs AIK Prediction & Betting Tips (22 July)

GAIS have been cooking with gas on their own patch of late, recording 12 consecutive home victories in the Allsvenskan, one of which was a success against AIK in their last H2H meeting. Speaking of the visitors, they have not been particularly strong on their travels of late, suffering 12 defeats in 19 trips, so this test is likely to prove too severe.

Over the course of their 15 top-flight away games during the current campaign, AIK have been involved in no fewer than 11 encounters containing a minimum of three successful strikes. Slightly more surprisingly, perhaps, these numbers are identical for GAIS home matches in the Allsvenskan under their coach, so all the signs point towards an entertaining clash.

AIK have been involved in some pretty entertaining encounters recently, with seven of their previous eight top-flight matches producing goals at both ends of the pitch. Given that eight of the last ten GAIS games at this level have followed the same pattern, it would come as a bit of a surprise were either keeper to emerge from this contest with a clean sheet.
