Betis vs Getafe Prediction & Betting Tips (18 September)

Real Bétis started its season with clearly dilettante results like two draws against Girona 1-1 and on the Alaves field 0-0 as well as a defeat against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu 2-0. Fortunately, Manuel Pellegrini's men defeated promoted Leganes last weekend 2-0, to pick up their first victory of the season in the league. In the rankings, the Verdiblancos occupy the top 12 and can make a big jump to 6th place if they succeed this evening. On the other hand, it is much more sluggish than last year for Getafe which has not yet gleaned the slightest success in the elite for a record of three points sharing during the first three days against Bilbao 1-1, the Rayo Vallecano at home 0-0-0 and without a visit for the reception of Real Sociedad 0-0.

The first defeat fell last weekend, already in Andalusia but against Sevilla FC 1-0. With 3 points on the clock, the Azulones are flirting with relegation to the top 18. 

Getafe have been rock-solid defensively over the course of their previous six LaLiga matches, conceding just a single goal on the way to collecting 17 points from a possible 18. Given that both teams have found the net in just one of the last nine league games involving Betis, any deviation from this script would come as a bit of a surprise.
