Monaco vs Toulouse Prediction & Betting Tips (7 December)

Monaco was one of the big losers last weekend. Then runner-up to PSG, a victory in Marseille could bring them back to within 3 points of the French champion but the Monegasques were beaten at the end of the match 2-1 after having opened the score. The ASM thus saw its executioner steal the place of dolphin from it. Adi Hütter's team is now 3rd in Ligue 1, tied on points with Marseille and now 7 points behind the Parisian leader. Before stumbling at the Stade Vélodrome, she had just fallen at home in the Champions League against Benfica 2-3. A series of defeats coming after 3 victories in all competitions.

 Toulouse enters this meeting in 10th position in the Ligue 1 standings, 2 points from the first qualifying place for Europe and 6 lengths from the relegation zone. The Violets, who were coming off a 3-0 defeat in Paris, got off to a good start on Sunday against Auxerre 2-0. A match in which they were never worried by an opponent who was in great form. Not having such a great margin of maneuver over the poorly classified, Carles Martinez's team must continue to look in its rearview mirror. 

The Monegasques risk playing another match without young midfielder E. Diop (no match) and replacement winger Diatta (no goals in 6 Ligue 1 matches). Both players are in the recovery phase. At the same time, starting midfielder Camara, recently ill and absent in Marseille, should make his return to the group and the starting eleven. Golovin was the Monegasque scorer at the Vélodrome stadium but the attack of the Principality club relies more on the young French promises Akliouche (2 goals and 3 assists in Ligue 1) and Ben Seghir (4 goals and 3 goals in the championship).  The TFC, for its part, had to get used to the loss of its providential defender Nicolaisen, injured for several weeks.

The Dane is still missing this weekend. In addition, Carles Martinez saw his number 1 Remains goalkeeper go out with injury against Auxerre.
